Important Information about your APAPENN Membership and Website Updates

Dear APA Penn Community,

It’s official folks: on October 24th, 2023 we launched our new website!

Please visit https://apapenn.com to see the new platform. You can explore the new sections and added content that we know you will enjoy!

Once logged in, you will be able to:
  • View and edit your account information on the My Profile Page
  • View the members only section, including your member benefits
  • Renew your membership (when it is time for you to renew)
  • Update your office address listing in the 'Find an Acupuncturist' tool on the website. (NEW!)
  • All this and MORE!
One of the most exciting updates is that our new website now offers an upgraded membership management system. We believe this will offer our members greater convenience, enhanced features, and improved ease of use contributing to a more user-friendly and comprehensive experience.

Another important change is the use of Stripe as our new payment service provider. What this means for many of our members that use PayPal is that all current PayPal subscriptions will be discontinued. Regardless of your preferred method of payment, as your individual date approaches you will receive another email with instructions that detail how to manually renew your membership through the new system which will enable you to keep your account active. This is when we will really need your assistance, so please keep an eye out for this future email as it will ensure that your APA membership will continue uninterrupted.

Your membership not only supports you as a professional but the entire acupuncture community! APA Penn provides continual advocacy for professional providers and their rights. Close to 90% of membership dues go directly to supporting lobbying & legislative efforts. The practice of acupuncture in Pennsylvania has come a long way over the years due to the legislative success we have achieved as a group. Together we have not only protected our right to practice but also made it easier for patients to have access to us. This hard earned success is what allows us to continue to do the work we love and protects the investment we have made in ourselves and in our community.

We understand that any change might raise questions, and we are committed to assisting you throughout this process. If you encounter any issues or require any guidance during the transition we are here for you! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected] for prompt assistance.

We thank you again for your cooperation and understanding during this transition.

Best regards,

Your APA Penn Board of Directors
